tocotoco (hereinafter "the App") is an iOS application provided by takayaso (hereinafter "the Developer"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles personal information.

Information We Collect

Location Data

The App uses location data for navigation purposes. Location data is used for directional guidance during walks, destination search, and distance calculation. Location data is processed in real-time on the device and may be saved as part of your walk records.

Account Information

We collect the user ID and email address (optional) provided when signing in with Apple. This is used for account identification and walk record storage.

Walk Records

We record the start and end time, distance, steps, and destination information for each walk. This data is used to display your history and generate share cards.

Destination Ratings

Upon arrival, you may optionally submit a rating (good/not great) for the destination. This information is used for service improvement.

  • Apple Sign In — Account authentication

Data Storage and Management

Walk records and account information are stored on Supabase cloud servers. Photo data is stored in the cloud for tocotoco Pro users, and on the device's local storage for free users.

Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data (including walk records and photos) from "Settings" > "Delete Account" within the app. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

This Privacy Policy may be updated without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on this page along with the updated date.
